Breaking News: Podcast Coming Soon! (New Direction for UnWrest)

What is up everyone?

It has definitely been a while since I've posted on here. And that is due to a lot of things. But the essential truth is that the blog became a bit of a tiring thing after a while, at least in its form of writing reviews for each show and still maintaining things I had other interests in.

So, I dropped the blog because it did not become worth the time or effort, in all honesty. In my day job, I'm already around a computer a lot, typing. That, along with becoming too analytical, hindered my enjoyment of both the project and the actual wrestling content. Thus, I stepped away and decided to just let what I created in the first place speak for itself. So, the days of me writing pages and pages worth of reviews have ended.

However, I'm not closing this blog. And I'm now preparing a new branch for UnWrest to continue, one that allows me to be more creative and expand my thoughts beyond the keyboard. That's right; UnWrest the Podcast is coming soon, hopefully by the end of this weekend. I will explain more of what that means once it launches (I'm hoping to have something up by the end of the weekend).

As for this website, this will be used to post episodes of the podcast, take questions or comments, and post polls for content people would want to hear me discuss.

Anything else I have to say about the podcast and blog will be included on the first episode itself.

WWE Stomping Grounds 2019 Review

What's up everyone, It's the sequel to WWE Super Showdown as WWE presents the first ever Stomping Grounds event. Will this be an annual thing or go the way of "Great Balls of Fire?" WWE TLC 2018 Review- Tables and Ladders and Chairs, Oh My!

HERE WE GO! Pre-Show 1) WWE Cruiserweight Championship Buddy Murphy (champ) vs. Cedric Alexander They started this match early. Apparently, they wanted just as many fans in the arena as there usually are in 205 Live matches for this to give it the authentic feel. The bell rings. A lot of tie-ups and switches to start up the match to a good reaction from the crowd. A Loud 205 Chant. Alexander takes down Murphy to the floor. Really good back and forth action here with both men moving quickly. Alexander catches Murphy with a dropkick for a 2 count. BIG KNEE to the head of Alexander sends him to the floor. Murphy flies off the top rope and hits a Meteora (maybe that’s what they were going for?) for a 2 count. WCW Spring Stampede 1994 Review- WCW At Its Best + Flair/Steamboat In Another Classic

It's WCW in early 1994. We're now working up the hype for the eventual debut of Hulk Hogan to the company. This seems like the final last gasp of what WCW was prior to Hogan's debut with the company. Tonight, we are getting WCW World Champion Ric Flair vs. Ricky Steamboat 5 years after their classic feud (covered on UnWrest Focus earlier). We are also getting International World Champion Ravishing Rick Rude vs. Sting. We also have Steve Austin defending his U.S. Championship against The Great Muta!
