SmackDown 4/23/19- Owens Is Apparently A Waffles Guy

Kevin Owens is now truly back. We missed you, KO. (I'll save Kevin Owens the burn: I know you didn't miss us. And we aren't worthy. Lol.) SmackDown Thoughts 4/23/19 - Shane McMahon comes out first. After he gets the ring announcer to do the over-the-top introduction, he goes on a tirade about Roman Reigns punching his father last week. Instead of fining, suspending, or firing Roman Reigns, Shane calls out Roman Reigns to "settle it in the ring." Roman comes out to a good ovation from the crowd. Roman has a mic and just throws it away. Shane does the same. Elias distracts Roman allowing Shane to start striking Roman. Roman starts beating down on Shane until Elias comes back into the ring to beat down on Roman with Shane. Elias hits Drift Away on Roman, allowing Elias and Shane to walk off. (Decent enough segment. I guess it shows Elias's alliance with The McMahons. This was basically to help set up a likely match at Money in the Bank. I'm not sure

Raw (4/22/19)- Who Gets Burned Down at Money In The Bank?

There's a whole lot of SmackDown Live infused into Raw going forward. Let's see how the show changes as a result... Raw Thoughts (4/22/19) - Seth Rollins and Triple H come out first. (Dark Thought that came through my head was "Oh God. Seth is hurt, isn't he?") Seth puts over his accomplishment at WrestleMania, as does Triple H. The crowd is ridiculously hot for its homestate boy, Seth Rollins. Triple H puts over the fact that everyone is gunning for Rollins and the Universal Championship. Money in the Bank is brought up. Seth promises never to let anyone cash in Money in the Bank on him again.  They bring up the Triple Threat Matches mentioning it as if it is a big announcement, which Michael Cole/Kevin Dunn already brought up in the intro for this segment. Samoa Joe comes out and declares himself a member of the Raw roster. Samoa Joe tells Seth that he has room for another championship on his shoulders. Cue the trope of interruptions of wrestlers sayin

WWE WrestleMania 35- Breaking Through Barriers

Well, here it is: WrestleMania 35. The women will be THE Main Event of this show. But there promises to be a ton of other great memories to take away from this show. This will be a live blog coverage of WrestleMania 35. Instead of doing move for move, I'm posting thought by thought for the matches but still giving my overall review of the match itself. Let's do this.... WrestleMania 35 Met Life Stadium (New York/New Jersey) 4/7/19 Pre-Show At 5:21pm, our first match is starting! WWE Cruiserweight Championship Buddy Murphy (c) vs. Tony Nese - The arena is half empty. THIS IS A 205 Live Match!!!! - The wrestlers are coming out from a entrance further down the ramp than the actual entrance. - These guys start immediately after the bell rings. - Nese screams about this being his WrestleMania moment. Pre-Show, Tony. Pre-Show. He's trying to hype up the crowd, and no one cares yet. - A gasp comes from the crowd when Nese gets dropped over the turnbuckles. An

RevPro: Live In NY- British Wrestling Takes Over NYC

This is one of the many independent shows going on at New York City for WrestleMania 35. In fact, there are too many shows for one wrestling fan with a full-time job to cover. I chose to follow the RevPro show since the promotion has been impressive in the several times I've been able to catch them. So, this is one of the few independent shows this weekend that I will be watching. RevPro Wrestling 4/5/19 After about 13 minutes on the feed, RevPro gets started. Kevin Kelly is one of the commentators on this show. He's with Andy Boy Simmonz. The President of Revolution Pro Wrestling is introduced to the crowd. He thanks the fans for being there. He puts over the show for the crowd. He wants the crowd to enjoy themselves and create memories to last a lifetime. Match #1- NJPW Young Lions (Karl Fredericks and Clark Connors) vs. CCK (Chris Brookes and Jonathan Gresham) Connors is impressive early on going move for move with Gresham. Fredericks gets tagged in, and he tosses

ROH/NJPW: G1 Supershow- They Did It

It's the night many of us never thought we'd see: An invasion of Madison Square Garden by another wrestling promotion. Tonight, New Japan Pro Wrestling and Ring of Honor co-promote a supershow from "The World's Most Famous Arena." Can both companies make the most of this situation on WrestleMania 35 weekend and with the upcoming arrival of All Elite Wrestling at the end of next month? Let's find out? NJPW/ROH G1 Supershow Madison Square Garden New York City, New York 4/6/19 Pre-Show HONOR RUMBLE 30 Men Rumble ala Royal Rumble Entrant #1- Kenny King - Kenny demanded to be #1 apparently. Entrant #2-  MINORU SUZUKI!!!! Kenny King vs. The King. (For some reason, Suzuki's theme is edited out!) Entrant #3- Cheeseburger Cheeseburger goes after both Suzuki and King. Suzuki grabs the hair and delivers one hell of a forearm. Entrant #4- Beer City Bruiser (The production of this show looks awesome. It looks almost WWE-esque.) Beer
