SmackDown (3/26/19)- The Rise of Kofi, The Fall of Asuka

While #KofiMania makes it to the WWE Championship match at WrestleMania, we learn that no one was ready for Asuka's fall possibly off the WrestleMania card. SmackDown Thoughts (3/26/19) - The New Day come out first. The announcers put over their professionalism despite being screwed last week. (I wish they weren't throwing pancakes on their entrance to keep some seriousness.) The New Day cut a serious promo about their journey in the last 5 years. They discuss leaving WWE over what happened last week. The New Day want answers before they make a decision. They ask Vince McMahon to come out to address the situation face to face. Xavier says they'll wait all night if they need to. Mr. McMahon comes out smiling and strutting to the ring. McMahon goes to talk, but he's interrupted by Daniel Bryan and Rowan. Bryan says McMahon should let The New Day quit as they are nothing more than a stale novelty act. Bryan says that McMahon should call up three NXT wrestlers, cal

Raw (3/25/19)- Are We There Yet? Are We There Yet? Are We There Yet? Are We There Yet?

With WrestleMania within reach, Raw produces a lackluster program to build to its biggest show of the year. Raw Thoughts (3/25/19) - Michael Cole starts the show touting the historic Main Event announcement for WrestleMania: Becky vs. Charlotte vs. Ronda. Speaking of Ronda, she's the first one out tonight. It's announced that there will be a "Beat The Clock" challenge with all three women facing members of The Riott Squad tonight. Loud "WE WANT BECKY!" chants. The chants continue. Ronda tells everyone that they're welcome for the women main-eventing WrestleMania.  Ronda promises to make Charlotte and Becky tap out at the same time at WrestleMania. Rousey doesn't care for this "Beat The Clock" challenge farce. She's taking on Sarah Logan for her match. Here comes Becky Lynch! No one gave a damn about Rousey in WWE until "The Man came around." She saved Ronda's title reign. This ends one way: her title above

NXT (3/20/19)- Goldy Needs a New Home

With Tommaso Ciampa injured, the NXT Championship is in need of a new champion. The quest to find "Goldy" a new home begins tonight... NXT Thoughts (3/20/19) - Triple H comes out first with the NXT Championship. (Dang. He really wants to be champion again. Just kidding.) Triple H was going to come out and introduce the main event of NXT TakeOver being Johnny Gargano vs. Tommaso Ciampa. Ciampa had to relinquish the title due to injury. So, now Gargano will face the winner of a big match tonight for the vacant NXT Championship. That big match is Ricochet vs. Adam Cole vs. Aleister Black vs. Velveteen Dream vs. Matt Riddle. (Triple H and the announcers put over Tommaso Ciampa a lot here, for good reason. Here's hoping Ciampa comes back to go back after Goldie. I hate that he is injured again after getting so much momentum going for himself.) - Kona Reeves and The Forgotten Sons brush off the events for tonight. The Forgotten Sons wish Aleister and Ricochet the b

SmackDown (3/19/19)- The Troll is Strong with Vince McMahon

A 70+ Year Old Vince McMahon continues to troll his audience going into WrestleMania. SmackDown Thoughts (3/19/19) - The Miz starts off the show to discuss the situation between him and Shane McMahon. (If Miz is going to be a face in this feud, they should probably remove the "Quiet on the Set" beginning. That's more of a heel thing to tell the audience to be quiet.) They show highlights of last week's promo from Shane McMahon. Miz talks about being suckered in by Shane despite being warned about him. He talks about his father being assaulted. Shane is the worst McMahon. Shane may own the company, but he does not own me. He doesn't own Kofi either. Miz cuts a promo about hard work beating talent. He's succeeded when he should have failed and when everyone was counting him out. It took 13 years for him to say that he's earned the fans' respect. The fans chant "You Deserve It." Miz agrees, and he says Shane has earned the butt-whoopi

**SPOILERS** Pro Wrestling Crate- March 2019- Wrestlers With Podcasts

This month's Pro Wrestling Crate came in today. So, here's the scoop on what's in the crate. Obviously, this is a massive SPOILER alert for the Pro Wrestling Crate. If you have ordered it and don't want to be spoiled, you have been warned. Theme: "Wrestlers With Podcasts" As a wrestling fan who listens to wrestling podcasts every day, this was a no brainer. T-Shirts Both of the following T-Shirts came with posters of the art.  1) Edge and Christian  The first shirt is a Bill & Ted's Excellent Adventures inspired T-shirt. Look who is inside the phone booth. Seriously, that makes the shirt reek even more awesomeness. 2) Wrestling Figures This is a Back to the Future inspired T-Shirt for the podcast for Zack Ryder and Curt Hawkins (using their legit names for the poster). DVD Monday Night Wars w/ Jericho, Bischoff, and Prichard This should be good. While I've seen other debates between Prichard an

Raw (3/18/19)- Going Nowhere While Going to WrestleMania

While this week's Raw had some announcements, many parts of this show felt more like filler than anything important. Raw Thoughts (3/18/19) - Brock Lesnar shows up to start the show with Paul Heyman in tow. Heyman goes to speak, and he's getting drowned out by the boos from the Chicago crowd. Heyman cuts a promo about Rollins, calling him a master of propaganda. Heyman mentions the assertion that Brock Lesnar has problems wrestling guys Seth Rollins' size. Paul Heyman puts Drew McIntyre over and asks what Seth Rollins is thinking. Here comes Drew McIntyre. He puts himself over for what he did to 2/3 of The (former) Shield. He's going to do the same thing to Seth Rollins, and Rollins will not make WrestleMania. Rollins attacks McIntyre from behind with a chair, hitting him several times. He pauses and does it again. Rollins gets into the ring, but Lesnar just calmly gets out of the ring. Lesnar teases getting into the ring, but he just walks off instead. (Go

NXT (3/13/19)- Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic Round 2; Johnny Vengeance

The Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic goes into Round 2. Here's a recap of the four teams involved in this round: Round 2 Moustache Mountain vs. The Forgotten Sons Aleister Black and Ricochet vs. #DIY The winners will face each other later in the finals. The winners of that match will be declared the tournament champions and will challenge for the NXT Tag Team Championships at NXT TakeOver: New York. Fool Me Once...  WWE NXT 3/13/19 WWE Network; WWE NXT Thoughts (3/13/19) - We get a pre-taped video with The War Raiders narrating a highlight reel of the Round 1 action. They say no matter who wins, none of them are ready for WAR! Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic- Round 2 Match #1 The Forgotten Sons defeat Moustache Mountain. Blake and Bate start the match. Cutler gets tagged in and eventually gets the advantage on Bate. The Forgotten Sons get Bate in their corner and start beating down on Bate. Bate eventually rolls around Blake and tags in Seven. Seven giv

NXT (3/6/19)- Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic Round 1

Playing a bit of catch-up with NXT here as Round 1 of the Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic begins. I'm not going to lie: This hasn't been a show I've been wanting to go out of my way to watch. While I appreciate the Dusty Rhodes Classic for what it is, throwing an entire hour (plus) of a show to a Tag Team Tournament has never really appealed to me. It diminishes even more when the show is not live. Despite that, I'm ready to hopefully have a good time watching some NXT action. #DIY vs. Undisputed Era NXT, 3/6/19 WWE Network; WWE And since this is for the American Dream, let's play that Dusty Rhodes Classic remix of "Common Man Boogie," shall we? NXT Thoughts (3/6/19) 1) Aleister Black and Ricochet defeat Fabian Aichner and Marcel Barthel Barthel and Aichner dominate early on double teaming on Aleister Black for the opening moments of the match. Aichner gets distracted going after Ricochet on the apron, which allows Black to legswee
