WWE SummerSlam 2018 Predictions

Welcome to a fast-paced preview of WWE SummerSlam 2018. For this, I'm going to preview each match as fast as I can and provide my personal prediction for each match. Hey. All us older wrestling fans long for the "2.5 hours and you're done" format. But I digress. That's why we have NXT. Anyways, here we go with the predictions:    1) Raw Tag Team Championships: The B-Team (c) vs. The Revival As much as I want to say The Revival will win, I just can't. There's too much going against this old school team to win the titles right now. I feel like WWE has invested, for better and for worse, in the B-Team being tag team champions for another couple months at least. So, I can't see WWE changing script right now on this team. My Prediction: The B-Team 2) Rusev and Lana vs. Andrade "Cien" Almas and Zelina Vega Aiden English is the X-Factor in this match. I have a hard time believing that WWE won't have Aiden interfere in this match and ...

NXT Takeover Brooklyn IV Predictions

Here we are folks: The semi-regular reminder of how we wish WWE PPVs actually were. This may be the greatest NXT Takeover show ever put together. On paper, there is not a lemon on this show. The worst match may be a match that would be awesome on any other NXT Takeover. Fans in Brooklyn, you are extremely lucky. Anyways, here are my predictions for each match: Velveteen Dream vs. EC3 On a normal night, this match would be the one I would point to saying it could steal the show. But these guys are on one hell of a stacked show. That being said, it will be one hell of a match. This is also to me the hardest match to predict. EC3 really needs a big win in order to help get himself over after being in NXT for a few months with not much to show for it (besides the 5 Star- "would be 6 stars in the Tokyo Dome" - Ladder Match).  But Velveteen Dream is in a similar position and has had more high profile matches that he's lost. For that reason, I'm going with Velveteen D...

UnWrest (Week of August 17, 2018)- TV Reviews, Rewind, Recommendation, and More!

What's up folks? This week's UnWrest was late for a lot of reasons. But here it is: Raw, Smackdown, NXT, and ROH thoughts are here. In addition, you get your rewind match and your podcast recommendation. Without further ado, let's do this!!!! Raw Notes - I thought Ronda Rousey nailed that opening promo like a champ. She was put in a very uncomfortable position having to comment on the death of The Anvil, Natalya's father. And I thought she nailed it and found a good way to transition from that to her match Sunday against Alexa Bliss. I will also add that Rousey continues to grow by leaps and bounds on the mic and in the ring. Compare THIS Ronda to the one that was trying to cut promos in February and March, and they are completely different. Hats off to Ronda. - Finn Balor is a very small man. Just don't put him next to AJ Styles.  I can't wait for this Corbin-Balor feud to end. - Paul Heyman turning on Roman was a slow burn that was given gasoline at the w...

G1 Climax 28 FINALS- Ibushi vs. Tanahashi

HERE IT IS FOLKS! THE FINALS OF THE G1 CLIMAX! From WrestleZone, here is the card for today's show: (wrestlezone.com) AND HERE WE GO!!!! (I had computer problems early on. So, bear with me. These first two matches weren't much to talk about anyways.) 1 ) Elgin, Makabe, and Honma beat Nagata, Umino, and Yoshida - This was a very basic match. Nothing much to write home about. Elgin's team gets the win when Makabe hits Yoshida with the King Kong Knee Drop 2) Bad Luck Fale squashes Toa Henare - This lasted at most about 2 minutes. Henare jumped Fale, but Fale just mowed him over with a Grenade and a Bad Luck Fall for the win. 3) Taichi and Iizuka vs. Goto and YOSHI-HASHI - I've actually missed Taichi's fake singing. - There's no Iizuka for the entrance. Taichi is just out there by himself and his manager. - HERE COMES IIZUKA with a chair attacking both Goto and HASHI. - This is just organized chaos with Taichi and Iizuka using chairs outside th...

G1 Climax 28- Night 18- B BLOCK FINALS- Ibushi vs. Omega, Naito vs. Sabre Jr.

What's up everyone? THIS IS IT! Today, we find out the winner of the B Block. Here's where we are at.... B Block Standings (After Night 16) Kenny Omega (12 Points) Tetsuya Naito (12 Points) Kota Ibushi (10 Points) Zack Sabre Jr. (10 points)** Sanada (8 Points)** Ishii (8 Points)** Hirooki Goto (6 Points)** Tama Tonga (6 Points)** Juice Robinson (4 points)** Toru Yano (4 Points)** ** Eliminated from possible victory in the block. Scenarios for Victory Omega: Must win his match or tie Ibushi (If Naito loses earlier) Naito: Beat OR Tie  Sabre Jr. and hope for a tie between Ibushi and Omega (totally within the realm of possibility) Ibushi: Beat Omega and hope that Naito loses to Sabre Jr. (I doubt Sabre beats Naito unless Jericho makes a surprise return and costs Naito the match. He beat Naito by surprise once in the New Japan Cup. He isn't doing it twice.) Ironically, for Ibushi to make it to the finals, 4 men will need to be tied at 12 points atop the ...

G1 Climax 28- Night 17- A BLOCK Finals- Tanahashi v. Okada

THIS IS IT! I'm anxious to see another chapter in the Tanahashi vs. Okada feud play out here. I know I'm probably in the minority here, but I would like to see Tanahashi get a win for once against Okada. Lately, Okada has been winning or tying the Ace in their matches. For the rivalry to continue, I think The Ace needs to sneak one past Okada. Then there's the question of whether Jay White will beat EVIL. If that happens, White needs Okada to beat Tanahashi to advance to the G1 Finals.  If White beats EVIL, Okada is mathematically eliminated from winning the block. I don't see that happening. Here's your final reminder for where we are at in the G1 Climax A Block... A Block Standings After Night 15 Hiroshi Tanahashi (14 Points) Jay White (12 points) Kazuchika Okada (12 points) EVIL (8 Points)** Minoru Suzuki (8 points)** Bad Luck Fale (6 points)** Michael Elgin (6 points)** Hangman Page (6 points)** Togi Makabe (4 points)** YOSHI-HASHI (4 points)*...
