Pre-Show

- Gotta be honest. My review for tonight might be a little more favorable after having to watch last night's ROH Best in the World the whole way through. I feel bad for ROH. It's like watching a team that you know is struggling. And you want them to succeed so much. But they can't stop stumbling over their own feet. So, I'm looking forward to AEW providing a quality program tonight.

- AEW's show starts with a video showing the producer talking about not getting the permits to get the ring inside the building. Lol. But it looks like everything is well in AEW. They are using the same set from Double or Nothing.

Excalibur is joined with two different commentators for tonight. Interesting.

- The main event is the Non-Sanctioned Match between Joey Janela and Jon Moxley.

1) Private Party vs. Best Friends vs. SCU (Sky/Kaz)
- Trent starts off with Kassidy in the ring. After one knockdown with a shoulder tackle, he tags in Chuckie T. He does the same, and Kazs tags himself in on T. Qwen gets the tag from his partner and starts going at it with Kaz.
- Eventually it starts breaking down between SCU and Best Friends with SCU showing off their moves for a moment. Qwen gets the tag and Private Party start flying around the ring. They hit moves I've never seen before faster than I can type them. These guys are impressive!
- Private Party hot dog in the ring to the cheers of the crowd. This allows the other two teams to regroup and gang up on them in the ring.
- Private Party gets obliterated with a suplex and a DDT on the floor.
- SCU stops the Best Friends from hugging, but Best Friends would not be denied after they throw SCU to the floor. Rocket Launcher into the ACe Crusher by Best Friends to Kassidy only gets a 2.
- Best Friends continue their domination for a couple moments. Kassidy finally gets away from Taylor, but Trent prevents a tag to Kassidy's partner. He is forced to tag in Kaz just to get out of the match.
- Kaz takes out everyone who comes at him in the ring, running around like a man 10-12 years younger.
- Qwen gets the tag and hits a HUGE SHOOTING STAR PRESS (HE WAS UP AT LEAST 12 FEET IN THE AIR!) for only a 2 count.
- Taylor sandwiches Private Party on top of each other. SCU and Best Friends fight over the bones. Eventually SCU hits a Double Stomp into a Unprettier. 1-2-KICKOUT! Private Party is impressing here as are the other teams.
- The action is insane as Private Party hits a Hurricanrana off the top into a Cutter. ONLY A 2 count thanks to the count being broken up!
- Best Friends are able to hit Strong Zero. 1-2-3!!!!

Winners: Best Friends
Match Grade: A-. That was incredible. For the critics who said last month's pre-show wasn't that great, what do you think of that? 3 Tag Teams just went out in the ring and put on a great 15-16 minute war with each team getting a moment to shine in the spotlight. Amazing work back and forth, and I personally want to see a sequel.

After the match, a video shows on the screen. The Dark Order has decided that Best Friends are the first team they will make an example out of. The lights go off. The Dark Order are around ringside with Best Friends caught in the middle of the ring. The lights go out again. The lights come back on, and The Dark Order is gone. Ok.

- The Young Bucks are backstage. They are worried that the show is going over-budget. They cut to documentary footage of The Bucks complaining about things not being there. Kenny Omega walks into them in another clip. They joke about Kenny using too much money and not being able to afford half the models on the stage. So, they are being escorted to the back. Instead, half of them are replaced with fakes instead.

2) Leva Bates (w/ Peter Avalon) (The Librarians) vs. Allie
- Shhhhhhh!
- Avalon emerges from the tent. Avalon destroys the tent he was hiding in and one of the (fake) models gets decapitated.
- They cut a promo putting down the gamers in the arena and putting over the power of books with words. Read. Knowledge is power... POWER!
- I thought this was supposed to be Kylie Rae. But I'm not going to complain about Allie getting her match tonight. (Isn't she dead on Impact? Why am I asking that? Impact is dead. It doesn't matter.)
- The Librarian keeps saying "Shhhh!" Allie responds by stomping on her fingers and saying "Shhhh!" back to her.
- Allie catches Bates with a crossbody. Side Russian Legsweep followed by a rollup almost gets the three. Avalon grabs the leg on Allie, allowing Bates to dropkick Allie to the floor.
- Bates works on Allie for a few minutes in the ring, including using a Fisherman Buster and a Northern Lights Suplex. This Librarian can work.
- "HOOKED ON PHONICS" chant from the crowd as Bates does a nice rolling move into a double armlock.
- Allie starts fighting back with chops. But Bates responds with driving knees into Allie. Neckbreaker by Allie stops the momentum for Bates.
- Allie hits a series of running attacks into the corner on Bates with venom.
- Bates hits a Lungblower on Allie. PEDIGREE!!!! 1-2-Kickout! Another kickout.
- Avalon throws a book in the ring. Allie grabs it, throws it into Bate's hands, and nails her with a Superkick. 1-2-3.

Winner: Allie
Match Grade: C+. An average match with some solid work by both women. A good exhibition for the women's wrestlers here.

Omega is continuing to go on about bands being at the stage. There were supposed to be bands there, but they've all pulled out. Kenny looks depressed. Turn off the camera he says. We now see an empty band stage.

3) Hardcore Match
Jebailey vs. Michael Nakazawa
- Jebailey is the CEO of CEO Gaming. He faced Nakazawa last year with a Torn ACL. He wanted to do this match again this year in order to show off the skills that he's learned in the last year and a half.
- Nakazawa gets on the mic. He calls him "Mr. Cripple." He tells him that CEO sucks. He puts over a rival gaming convention. He kicks Jebailey in the left leg.
- The match starts. Jebailey slams Nakazawa a couple times. The baby oil of Nakazawa comes out, and Nakazawa uses it to slide out of Jebailey's arms. The ref and Jebailey slide on the baby oil.
- This goes to the floor. Nakazawa gets sent into the guardrail and eats a sign across the face. Justin Long gave Jebailey a gaming console (fight stick) to use against Nakazawa in the ring. It connected, but he only got a two count.
- They fight at the pool around the entrance area. Nakazawa is being drowned in the pool set up. Nakazawa spits chlorine water into his eyes! But Jebailey slams Nakazawa into the pool.
- They are going back into the ring. Jebailey gets a few weapons from under the ring. He throws a Gamecube Controller (I kid you not) into the ring. A table is set up as well. Nakazawa uses the controller cord to choke Jebailey and mocks playing a game on the controller. Nakazawa then bites Jebailey's head. NAKAZAWA SPEARS JEBAILEY OFF THE APRON THROUGH THE TABLE AT RINGSIDE!!!!  WOW!  Back in the ring, 1-2-Nakazawa pulls him up before the three.
- Kendo Stick shots to the back of Jebailey! Nakazawa takes off his thong and goes after Jebailey. German Suplex by Jebailey sending Nakazawa on the top of his head!!!
- Jebailey goes under the ring and pulls out... BUTTONS?! They have his face on them! Nakazawa gets backdropped on them! Kendo Stick shots now to Nakazawa. The referee accidentally gets The Thong Claw. Low blow to Nakazawa. Cradle by Jebailey. 1-2... Nakazawa reverses! 1-2-3!

Winner: Michael Nakazawa
Match Grade: B-. I have to give these guys credit. I wanted to absolutely hate it, but they just killed it. A very good garbage match, and Jebailey proved that he could do this kind of match once a year.

HERE COMES J.R.!!!!! They are helping J.R. get his headset on while hyping the start of the main show.

Jon Moxley cuts a promo. He wants the weapons left at ringside. If you don't know who Jon Moxley is, you are about to find out!!!!

MAIN CARD

Jim Ross, Excalibur, and Goldenboy (replacing Alex Marvez) are at ringside talking about the card for tonight.

1) Christopher Daniels vs. Cima
- SCU may be the best possible opening act for this company. They get the crowd going regardless of what combination or solo part of the group comes out.
- Goldenboy is already an improvement over Marvez, and we're only a few moments into this show.
- Daniels and Cima show great athleticism, especially for men in the later stages of their career. Daniels eats a dropkick sending him to the floor and a baseball slide seconds later. Cima gets some cool submission moves on Daniels.
- Daniels gets a Tilt-A-Whirl Backbreaker on Cima. On the floor, Daniels hits a Release Northern Lights Suplex on Cima on the floor. He continues his attack of Cima in the ring focusing on the back of his opponent. Arabian Moonsault to the back of Cima followed by a Crossface. (Again, Daniels is in his LATE 40s doing moves like this. Amazing.) Cima gets to the rope.
-  Cima starts fighting back. Lungblower to Daniels, but he hurts his back coming down on the move. (Good selling.) Cima throws Daniels off the top rope, but he only gets a 2 count. Blue Thunder Bomb by Daniels. Angel's Wings! 1-2-Kickout!
- Cima sets up Daniels on the corner and gets a Running Liger Bomb! A Fisherman's Buster! 1-2-Kickout!
- Cima plants Daniels and hits a METEORA off the corner!!! 1-2-3!

Winner: Cima
Match Grade: B. Good opener for the main card here. Cima and Daniels showed great athleticism throughout the match and kept the crowd invested throughout.

They shake hands and hug after the match.

3) 2) Riho vs. Nyla Rose vs. Yuka Sakazaki
- The women shake hands before the match. But Nyla uses that opportunity to get an early start on the match. She rams her opponents into each other. They try to put a Boston Crab on her, but she twists both of them over instead. DOUBLE SPLASH BY ROSE! Both women get out of the pin attempt and attack Rose. But Rose flips both women over in a Double Suplex seconds later.
- DOUBLE CAMEL CLUTCH!!!! They get out of it, but Rose continues to dominate the match.
- Great moment when Rose threw one of her opponents on top of the other: The ref went for the pin count. Nyla broke it up, but it's that logical attention to the rules that makes a match for me that much more.
- Yuka hits a leg scissors takedown to Rose sending her to the floor. She then dives out onto both of her opponents and hits a missile dropkick on Riho in the ring. 2 count only.
- Riho and Yuka go at it in the ring trading shots back and forth. Riho puts Rose on the ropes and hits a 619!!!!  Yuka dives off the ropes on Rose. Riho does the same with a Double Stomp.
- Riho and Yuka continue to go at it, knowing defeating the other may be their best chance of winning.
- Yuka gets caught diving at Rose and gets planted on the mat in a Side Effect type way. 2 count only though. Delayed Vertical Suplex by Rose to Yuka. Riho gets splashed in the corner and hung out on the top rope. NYLA CLIMBS THE TOP ROPE!!!! GUILLOTINE ON THE HANGING RIHO!!!!!
She's not going for the cover.
- She drags Riho into the corner and climbs back up again! Yuka catches Rose on the top, but she gets kicked to the floor! SENTON BOMB MISSES!!!!! Riho climbs to the top! She dives off onto Rose, but she gets caught. Yuka jumps off, but she gets caught too!!!! Double pin by Yuka and Riho!!! 2 count!
- Yuka dives off the top rope into the knees of Riho. Release German by Rose to Yuka. Sit-Down Powerbomb! 1-2-RIHO kicks Rose down, causing Yuka to get the pin attempt. She knees her down at 2 as well.
- "This is Awesome" by the crowd. I completely agree. This is incredible.
- Rose hits the Death Valley Driver on Riho! 2 count!
- Rose goes for another powerbomb, but RIHO ROLLS HER UP! 1-2-3!!!!

Winner: Riho
Match Grade: A. Best match of the show thus far. These three women just went absolutely insane in this match hitting anything and everything they could. That Guillotine spot by Rose was the moment this match went from one level to the next.

Rose jumps Riho after the match. Sit-Down Powerbomb on Riho is avoided thanks to Yuka helping Riho. They send Rose out of the ring. Riho pushes Yuka down and away.

3) MJF vs. Hangman Page vs. Jungle Boy vs. Jimmy Havoc
- Kip Sabian joins the commentary team. He will face the winner at Fight for the Fallen.
- MJF pushes a fan in the face on the way to the ring. That's a bit of a lawsuit waiting, isn't it?
- He gets on the mic. He gets booed before even talking. He reminds the fans about being thrown into lockers as students. Trash talking ensues. He can barely talk as the crowd is just booing the hell out of him. He tells them that their mother... well, I'm not going to finish that sentence. This guy is amazing on the mic.
- Jungle Boy comes out on the shoulders of Luchasaurus. That just makes a whole lot of sense.
- Jimmy Havoc's interview with Chris Van Vliet is amazing. If you haven't seen that interview, I highly recommend it.
- Page gets a great ovation coming out to the ring. Justin Roberts announces him as being 295lbs. (Did Cody put him up to that?)
- The bell rings. All four men are in the ring at the same time. So, I'm writing greatest hits during this match folks.
- Havoc and MJF are sent to the floor early allowing for Page and Jungle Boy to take the spotlight. Jungle Boy moves around well, hitting several big moves on Page. Havoc comes in and gets some moves, including a Falcon Arrow on Jungle Boy. MJF gets in on the action here. Page catches Jungle Boy and hits a Fallaway Slam. He dives on MJF on the floor, but Havoc catches him with a running Cannonball.
- MJF stops Jungle Boy from diving on the floor. MJF trolls the crowd (living up to his gimmick: a wrestling troll. Jungle Boy does an insane backwards flip off the top turnbuckle onto the men on the floor.
- MJF and Jungle Boy go at it in the ring. Havoc catches Jungle Boy on the corner. TOWER OF DOOM! PAGE POWERBOMBS HAVOC WHO SUPLEXES JUNGLE BOY INTO THE FACE OF MJF IN THE RING!
- Reverse Rana by Jungle Boy. But he eats a lariat and a powerbomb by Page. MJF puts Jungle Boy's foot on the rope to stop the count. MJF hits a double stomp on the back of Havoc's head! Ouch. Havoc almost gets pinned, but Page pulls Havoc out of the ring.
- MJF and Page go at it in the center of the ring. MJF takes out the knee of Page. He mocks going for the Sharpshooter. Page gets it on MJF instead. MJF gets to the ropes.
- Cactus Piledriver by MJF gets a 2 as Jungle Boy stops the count. Havoc dumps Jungle Boy on Luchasaurus. MJF goes for another piledriver on Havoc. Double Stomp off the top by Havoc on MJF. 2 count.
- MJF avoids Havoc's finisher. Buckshot Lariat to Havoc. MJF gets sent to the floor. Havoc eats The Dead Eye. 1-2-3!

Winner: Hangman Page
Match Rating: B-. Good enough match here with MJF standing out a lot in this one. This wasn't as good as some of the other matches so far on this show due to all the chaos that happened in those earlier matches, but it did what it needed to do: keep momentum for Page and heat on MJF.

MJF stares down Page after the match.

4) Cody vs. Darby Allin
- Allin carries a bodybag that says "Cody 1-1," signaling what Cody's record will be after this match.
- Cody comes out next with Brandi Rhodes. Cody has got fireworks going off and fire blasting from the stage. Darby Allin is just sitting in the corner, a tormented mess waiting for the bell to ring.
- The bell rings, and Darby has not moved yet. Allin finally gets up and removes his hoodie. Allin is a lot smaller than Cody, almost Rey Mysterio like in size.
- Darby impresses early on with some fast moves and flips. Darby later turns a hip toss into a Lucha style Top-Rope assisted hip toss of his own. Cody spends some time on the floor before coming back in.
- Cody slaps the taste out of Darby Allin. Goldust Uppercut by the former Stardust. Darby gets catapulted through the turnbuckles down to the floor hard. Cody does some push-ups in the ring. Cody goes to work on Darby's arm in the ring. Eventually, Cody uses his size as well as a weapon, focusing on wrecking the body of Darby.
- Figure Four Leg Lock by Cody. Darby BITES the bottom rope for the rope break. Cody responds by flipping Allin into the corner. Allin smashes Cody's wrist/hand into the ringpost. That may come into play later. BIG Lariat by Cody. 2 count only.
- Cody continues to use his body to torture Allin with some knee shots and torturous moves around the torso area.
- We get a reminder that 10 minutes have passed. 10 remain. (This is something they've been doing all night, announcing the time limits throughout the match. There are a lot of advantages to this, including making sure wrestlers don't go "long" if they are only supposed to go x amount of minutes.)
- Cody goes for the delayed vertical, but Allin pulls the injured hand to get out of it. He goes after the hand of Cody and starts twisting, headbutting, and punching the bad hand!!!  Cody gets to the ropes, but Allin holds on to it as long as he could without getting disqualified.
- Cody goes to the floor and Allin dives through the ropes after him. Cody's hand gets smashed against the steps, and Cody responds by tripping Darby on the steps himself. Cody dives through the ropes onto Allin, and the cameraman gets caught up in it.
- Back in the ring, CODE RED! Cody kicks out at 2. 5 minutes left!
- They are on the top rope! REVERSE SUPERPLEX BY CODY ON DARBY!!!!! DAMN! 1-2-Kickout!
- They now fight on the apron. Darby bites the hand of Cody. Darby is knocked into the ring. Cody is laying on the apron. HE CLIMBS UP THE TOP OF THE CORNER! HE DIVES BACKWARDS TO ELBOW DROP CODY!!!! HE MISSES HITTING THE DAMN EDGE OF THE RING INSTEAD! JAWS ARE DROPPED!
- The referee says Darby is still ok to do the match. Darby slaps Cody. Cody kicks him back down. Cody zips up Darby in his own bodybag as we have 2 minutes left! Disaster Kick to Allin in the bodybag! 2 count only! Allin is out of the bag! 1 minute left!
- Darby kicks out of a jackknife attempt! Cody is using his belt on Allin. Darby hits a Over the Top Stunner! Cross Rhodes!  1-2-TIME HAS EXPIRED!

Winner: Draw
Match Grade: B+. A great debut for Darby Allin. Cody helped put him over in this match without anyone doing the job. Very good show thus far, and another match well worth going out of your way to see.

- The crowd is asking for Overtime.
- SHAWN SPEARS SMACKS CODY OVER THE HEAD WITH A CHAIR!!!! Brandi Rhodes is in the ring. The referee gets in between those two. The back of Cody's head is bleeding. Spears goes out through the crowd. MJF, SCU, security, referees, and others come out to check on Cody.
- A flap of skin is off the back of Cody's head from the chair shot.
- The replays of that chair hot are sickening.
- DEAN MALENKO SIGHTING!
- Cody is helped to the back as the commentary team reviews what just went down.

Jim Ross puts over the severity of the hit and possible CTE ramifications.

5) Lucha Bros. and Loredo Kid vs. The Elite
- The Elite come out to Street Fighter gear. Lol. That makes so much sense knowing how much they are into gaming.
- This is another match I'll do my best to cover, but I'm going to be just covering the bases.
- Justin Roberts is told something by The Elite. ROUND 1- FIGHT! Lol.
- Laredo Kid and Nick Jackson start off with the crazy fast-paced offense you would expect. Stalemate and taunts by both men. Now, all six men are in the ring. It's on. Triple Superkick by The Luchadores. DIVES BY THE LUCHA BROS AND A MOONSAULT BY LOREDO KID!
- Back in the ring, the Luchas continue to dominate with some sick offense.
- Nick Jackson takes some moonsaults and beating from Loredo. Fenix gets tagged in, but Pentagon Jr. comes in to help. Nick gets out of harm's way and tags in Matt Jackson who hits a ridiculous amount of Northern Lights Suplexes to the Luchas.
- Kenny gets a great ovation when he gets tagged in. Backbreaker gets a 2 count for Omega. You Can't Escape is escaped by Loredo Kid. Kid dives off the top rope into a dropkick by Omega. Kid goes to the floor. Rise of the Terminator pose by Omega. Pentagon gets in the way to stop the dive. Cero Miedo!
- Penta and Kenny go at it. Kotaro Crusher by Omega. So much action going on! Young Bucks come in and knock Fenix to the floor. You Can't Escape connects on Loredo Kid followed by top-rope dives from The Young Bucks as well.
- The Young Bucks gets knocked down by Loredo Kid. Kenny comes in and gets knocked down as well. Pentagon Jr. is in. Backstabber to Omega! Omega eats a hurricanrana on the floor. Suicide Dive by Fenix. Double Stomp by Penta on Matt Jackson for a 2 count.
- CANADIAN DESTROYER AND A SPEAR BY MATT JACKSON TO PENTAGON JR!
- Omega is legal now. Loredo Kid is tagged in as well. Snap Dragon by Omega for all the Luchas!
- OH MY GOD! THIS IS INSANE!!! FENIX GETS BACKDROPPED OVER KENNY OMEGA, OVER THE TOP TURNBUCKLE ONTO NICK JACKSON ON THE FLOOR! Kenny gets hit with a SPANISH FLY OFF THE TOP BY LOREDO KICK! Superkicks! V-Triggers! It's anyone's match right now.
- Luchas hit Triple Superkicks, but they run into TRIPLE PALMSTRIKES BY THE ELITE! Triple Liger Bomb by The Elite! 2 count.
- This is Awesome! The crowd said everything I really need to say.
- 450 x2 by Nick on two of the Luchas. Penta hits Sling Blade to Nick on the floor. Loredo sends Matt Jackson to the floor. V-TRIGGER BY OMEGA TO LOREDO KID! FENIX HITS A CUTTER ON OMEGA TO STOP OMEGA'S RUNNING DIVE!
- "FIGHT FOREVER" by the crowd!
- Matt has Pentagon Jr. set in Meltzer Driver position, BUT NICK JACKSON GETS SPANISH FLY FROM THE TOP ROPE TO THE FLOOR ONTO BOTH MATT AND PENTAGON! V-TRIGGER TO A JUMPING LOREDO KID! TIGER DRIVER! 2 count!
- 10 minutes are left!
- V-TRIGGER!
- ONE WINGED ANGEL TO LOREDO KID! 1-2-3!!!!!
Winner: The Elite
Match Grade: A+. Well, we have a new match of the night. This is absolutely incredible work by all six men here and a perfect example of the level of work and energy that is going to propel AEW to serious competition for WWE. So many great moves going on at such a quick pace. Excellent, must watch match.

The show is "officially" over. Now, it's time for the non-sanctioned match. Excalibur puts over the fact that both Moxley and Janela have said they are willing to die to hurt their opponent tonight. So, that is why AEW has decided to not sanction the match.

Justin Roberts announces that the show is officially over. But the last match will be anything goes and is unsanctioned. The lights go out, and our participants are ready to go.
Main Event
Non-Sanctioned Match
Joey Janela vs. Jon Moxley

- Moxley's theme is incredible and fits the character so much. The fireworks going off do not. Cut that horse poop off. Moxley sneezes and spits in the camera. Never mind. I can work with that.
- Just a thought: If a match is unsanctioned, why is there a ref in the ring in an official AEW shirt?
- Janela dives out onto Moxley, but the fight quickly goes out into the crowd. Moxley has the advantage for most of that exchange, but Janela is able to get some momentum going. He pulls out  a table and uses a PROSTHETIC LEG ON MOXLEY!!!! Moxley gets Janela down and pulls out a chair. He puts Janela and the chair in the ring. Slam on the chair. Moxley is bleeding from the eyebrow. Janela eventually puts Moxley on a seated chair position. HE GOES FOR A SENTON SPLASH, BUT MOXLEY MOVES! DANG!
- Moxley pulls out a BARBED WIRE WRAPPED STEEL CHAIR! He lays it on Janela and STOMPS IT into the chest of Janela. "You Sick F....." by the crowd. Moxley bows down to them.
- Janela and Moxley are on the corner! MOXLEY IS SETN ONTO THE BARBED WIRE! STEEL CHAIR SHOT WITH THE BARBED WIRE CHAIR BY JANELA TO THE BACK OF MOXLEY! 2 count. Another table is brought out. Dear God Almighty. This is a war. It's set up in the corner. Janela and Moxley battle on the apron. RUSSIAN LEG SWEEP BY JANELA TO MOXLEY DOWN THROUGH THE TABLE! Janela's head smacked the guard rail coming down!!!! Back in the ring, JANELA GETS DRIVEN THROUGH THE TABLE BY MOXLEY! Oh my God. Moxley is bleeding from the cuts of the chair. (That wasn't "working" barbed wire.)
- Moxley has two tables set up now next to each other. Janela and Moxley make obscene gestures to each other and go back at it. OH MY GOD! A BARBED WIRE BOARD IS BROUGHT OUT BY MOXLEY! It's set up in the corner! They both tease going through the board! MOXLEY GETS DEATH VALLEY DRIVEN INTO THE BOARD, THE BARBS PIERCING HIS FLESH!!!!! 2 count only.
- They trade blows back and forth. Moxley gets a big lariat to flip Janela over. Superkicks by Janela. A LADDER IS INTRODUCED to this match! Janela sets it up in the ring. Moxley pulls Janela to the floor. But Janela smashes Moxley against the ring steps over and over again. Moxley is on the tables. Janela is climbing up the ladder!  JANELA DIVES OFF THE LADDER THROUGH MOXLEY THROUGH THE TABLES ON THE FLOOR!!!! WOW! This is living up to all that hype and then some.
- ANOTHER BOARD WITH BARBED WIRE IS BROUGHT OUT BY JANELA! He's placing it in between the ring and the barricade! The crowd is moving the hell out of the way! DDT BY MOXLEY IN THE RING!  OH MY GOD! JANELA IS DEATH VALLEY BOMBED THROUGH THE BOARD! AEW chants break out as Janela literally has to pull the wire out of his knee. Moxley throws Janela back in the ring.
- Moxley hits Janela with about 12-13 knees to the head. Moxley brings something else into the ring. It's a bucket and a bag! THUMBTACKS!!!!!!!!!!!!!  MOXLEY IS TAKING OFF THE BOOTS AND SOCKS OF JANELA! WHAT THE HELL?!?!?!
- SUPLEX BOMB TO JANELA ONTO THE TACKS!!!!!! ATOMIC DROP TO THE BAREFOOT JANELA ONTO THE TACKS!!!!!  They show the tacks literally in his feet!
- Janela flips off Moxley and wants more!!!!  MOXLEY BRINGS OUT MORE TACKS!!!!  AN ELEVATED DOUBLE UNDERHOOK DDT (PARADIGM SHIFT) ONTO THE TACKS! 1-2-3!!!! Both men have thumbtacks all over their body. Dear God!

Winner: Jon Moxley
Match Grade: A+. Speechless. I'm almost completely speechless. This is unsanctioned. This is anti-PG. This is not for the kids under 13. This was awesome. And I'm sick to my stomach almost.

KENNY OMEGA RUNS DOWN AND HITS A V-TRIGGER ON MOXLEY AT RINGSIDE!!!!! PILEDRIVER THROUGH A BROKEN TABLE! KENNY PUTS A TABLE ON MOXLEY AND HITS A DIVING DOUBLE STOMP ON MOXLEY! Omega is going after Moxley around the arena now. Omega uses the mic stand against Moxley. Moxley goes face first into a drum kit. Omega grabs a guitar and SMACKS it against the bloodied back of Moxley. Remember, he still has cuts and thumbtacks in it from the war he just worked! Jim Ross puts over the fact that Moxley is actually smiling after this abuse. Moxley attacks the referees trying to help him! OMEGA IS BACK AND SMACKS A TRASH CAN VIOLENTLY AGAINST MOXLEY AGAIN AND AGAIN! Omega hits Moxley's Double Arm DDT onto the Trash Can. Omega poses. Moxley is still smiling!

Show Grade: A+. AEW is 2-0. For anyone who was wondering what makes AEW different than WWE, this is the perfect show to tell people to watch. No duds at all on this show with the worst match being an average women's match on the pre-show. AEW has come to play, and they are changing the wrestling world. There are a lot of great matches and A level matches on this show. Go out of your way to see this if you haven't seen it already. The overall show may be better than Double or Nothing from top to bottom.

Until next time, take care of yourselves. Spread some awesomeness.

UnWrest Focus REWIND: Vader vs. Cactus Jack (WCW Halloween Havoc, 10/24/1993)

Spin the Wheel, Make The Deal. That was the gimmick going into this iconic match between two of the hardest hitting wrestlers of all time. It was the storyline months in development: Cactus Jack had just returned after Vader mauled him with a battery of injuries and a concussion to get his revenge. Vader, a merciless monster who delivers pain and punishment to all his vicitms, faced Cactus Jack, the one guy who would take Vader's assault and like the orphan Annie would ask for more. And if Vader wanted to brawl, no one could take Vader's offense and return it in spades quite like Cactus Jack. So, WCW billed the match as "Spin the Wheel, Make the Deal." The idea being that the actual stipulation of the match would be determined on Halloween Havoc by the spin of a big wheel. (If only wrestling could take the "Big Wheel" from The Price is Right. And of course, we'd have to make sure it goes all the way around.) So, the wheel landed that night on a Texas D

WCW Spring Stampede 1994 Review- WCW At Its Best + Flair/Steamboat In Another Classic

It's WCW in early 1994. We're now working up the hype for the eventual debut of Hulk Hogan to the company. This seems like the final last gasp of what WCW was prior to Hogan's debut with the company. Tonight, we are getting WCW World Champion Ric Flair vs. Ricky Steamboat 5 years after their classic feud (covered on UnWrest Focus earlier). We are also getting International World Champion Ravishing Rick Rude vs. Sting. We also have Steve Austin defending his U.S. Championship against The Great Muta! And Cactus Jack and Maxx Payne go to war with The Nasty Boys in a Chicago Street Fight. Here we go! Mean Gene Okerlund welcomes us to the show as fireworks go off. We're in the Rosemont Horizon in the suburbs of Chicago, Illinois. Aaron Neville sings the National Anthem holding on to as many harmonies and vowels as he can. Tony Schiavone and Bobby Heenan put over the main event. 1) Johnny B. Badd vs. Diamond Dallas Page (w/ Diamond Doll) Badd comes out dressed like
