MLW (1/25/19)- #ParkSami + Jim Cornette- inspired Rants

On this episode of MLW Fusion, we get a battle of hardcore legends as LA PARK takes on Sami Callihan in a Falls Count Anywhere Match. MLW Fusion (Episode 41) - We get some highlights of what Sami Callihan has done for Salina's organization over the last few months and the fallout between the two. Now, LA PARK is coming to get Sami fired or kill him.  - Our first match is Kotto Brazil taking on Vandal Ortagun. Brazil is wearing an eye patch to sell the supposed "Nightclub Attack" from Ricky Martinez a month or so ago. Vandal jumps him as the bell rings and sends him to the floor. Brazil gets the advantage and hits a few dives onto Ortagun on the floor. Big boot to the face by Brazil, but Ortagun uses the eyepatch to injure Brazil and get the advantage. Ortagun goes after the eye of Brazil some more and presses the attack with more offensive maneuvers. Brazil hits a version of Eat De-Feet followed by several German suplexes. Brazil gets a third German suplex event

MLW (1/18/19)- #BlondeHarts + #RushSwerve

This is the first of two reviews I'm doing on 1/31/19 in order to get caught up on MLW. For this episode, we're getting The Hart Foundation vs. The Dirty Blondes and Shane "Swerve" Strickland vs. Rush. MLW (1/18/19)- Episode 40 - We start the show with Shane Strickland in the ring. He starts cutting a promo about hating MLW. He's here for the money and the fact that MLW has no one that can match his skills. He calls himself the "Gold Standard." And here comes RUSH. Rush gets on the mic and insults Strickland. He jumps Rush, and it's on. The bell rings, and Swerve (Strickland) takes the attack to Rush in the ring and on the floor. Rush gets thrown around into the guard rail and against the ring post. Back in the ring, Swerve continues to beat up Rush as he dropkicks the knee of Rush in the corner. Swerve continues to work the knee and transitions between a couple submission holds. Swerve continues the attack with kicks to the chest of Rus

ROH (1/25/19)- Villain Enterprises + Juice Is Staying

On this edition of ROH TV, we are scheduled to see the in-ring debut of Villain Enterprises (Marty Scurll, Brody King, and PCO) as they are advertised to take on The Kingdom in a ROH 6-Man Tag Team Championship Match. ROH Thoughts - NWA World Champion Nick Aldis joins the commentary team. He even has his own microphone. - Our opening match is PJ Black (the former Justin Gabriel in WWE) taking on IWGP U.S. Champion JUICE ROBINSON!!!! Juice is wearing the "Old School Macho Man" attire. Juice offers a hand. He gets a chop instead to start the match. They exchange chops back and forth to start the match. Back and forth action to start things off. Black double stomps the back of Juice. Juice does the jabs, but he doesn't get the Left Hand of God in. He does however hit a dive to Black on the floor. Both are back in the ring as Black hits a beautiful back kick to Juice as we go to commercial. We return to see Black hit a double stomp off the corner to a standing Juice.

ROH (1/18/19)- Good Drinking Buddies, Better Enemies? + Rush Debuts

This is the first of a couple reviews in an attempt to get caught up on Ring of Honor. On this episode, we are supposed to see the ROH debut of Rush (who just recently signed with the company for a long-term deal) along with the battle of the former drinking buddies as Silas Young takes on the Beer City Bruiser. Let's do this! ROH (1/18/19) - Our opening match is a 1st Round Match in a tournament to determine a #1 Contender for the ROH TV Championship: Facade vs. Eli Isom. Isom and Facade don't seem to have much chemistry in the ring in the early going. Both guys look to be trying to feel the pace of how the other works and are left standing awkwardly in a couple spots. Isom dives at Facade on the outside and overshoots him to the point where both men hit really hard into the guard rail behind them. (This isn't ballet, I know. But still, that was legitimately a scary moment.) After break, both men are thankfully going back at it in the ring. Facade hits a Step

SmackDown (1/29/19)- For Daisy

SmackDown Thoughts - We start off with a replay of the last 48 hours for Becky Lynch, from her Royal Rumble victory to her picking Ronda Rousey for her championship match at WrestleMania. - Becky Lynch is the first one out tonight to a great ovation again from Phoenix. So many "The Man" signs and shirts out in the crowd. She talks about confronting "Ronnie" last night. She admits losing to Asuka, but unlike Ronda, she doesn't crumble when she loses. She won the Rumble with one good leg. Becky is proud from coming from nothing and slapping a bunch of heads to get to where she's at. She's proud of going from the Pre-Show last year to the Main Event of this year's WrestleMania. No one handed her anything. LOUD "YOU DESERVE IT!" chants. She saw doubt in "Ronnie's" eyes. She's going to break Ronnie's arm. And here comes Charlotte Flair. (And thus it begins: the needless desire to put Charlotte Flair in this match.) S

The Pre-Show Match That Mattered: Royal Rumble 2019

The biggest moment of the Royal Rumble event may have happened on its Kickoff Show WWE Royal Rumble 2019 Kickoff Show (YouTube; WWE Network) Thinking back on last night's Rumble event: The biggest single moment in the entire event may have happened in the Kickoff Show. This moment, shown above, is Lana getting knocked off the apron by Rusev during Rusev's United States Championship match against Shinsuke Nakamura. Lana would grab her leg after falling to the mat, and Rusev's subsequent concern over his wife inevitably cost him the championship seconds later. Fast forward to the Women's Royal Rumble Match. Lana enters #28, but she's hobbling the entire time to go down the aisle (still selling the bump from the Pre-Show). Eventually, Nia Jax beats her up in the aisle, and Lana is officially unable to enter into the Rumble. Becky Lynch comes in, takes Lana's place, and the rest is history.  But I can't remember the last time that a Kickoff Match ende

Raw (1/28/19)- The Man Makes Her Choice

The Man Makes Her Choice WWE; USA Network Raw Thoughts (1/28/2019) - Seth Rollins comes out to a big ovation from the crowd with loud "BURN IT DOWN" chants. Seth says he's going to WrestleMania. The fans chant "You Deserve It!" Seth says he has to point at the sign. And he does. All Seth ever wanted to do is point at that sign and go to the main event of WrestleMania. Seth discusses the paths that he can take.  The fans wants Seth to take Brock's belt. Seth says he needs to think about his decision. And here comes "The King of Kings" Triple H. Triple H would have disappointed if Seth didn't point at the sign. Triple H gets emotional talking about the challenge of wanting to go to WrestleMania and main event it. Loud "Burn It Down" chants again. Triple H tells him to make the decision tonight. The machine moves quickly, and WWE needs to know who Seth chooses. Seth has to pick his challenge tonight. Both Bryan and Lesnar wi

WWE Royal Rumble 2019- The Women Save The Show + A Good Men's Rumble
