G1 Climax 28 Coverage Announcement + SMACKDOWN LIVE TWEETS

What's up everyone?

Unfortunately, there isn't a G1 Climax show today. Yeah, I know. It's sucks. The G1 is like anything you get addicted to. When it's not there, you miss it all that much more. I will be back with G1 coverage tomorrow.

But on August 8th, I won't be posting any coverage of the A Block after the show airs. I know it sucks. I'm sorry. I just can't do any coverage of the show after it happens.  Because I'm going to post coverage of the show AS IT HAPPENS! That's right, folks  Here, exclusively on UnWrest, I'm going to do LIVE coverage of the A Block, B Block, and G1 Climax Finals on August 10th-12th. Be sure to check out this page, if you are awake around that time, for the coverage. Of course, if you check on the page at a later time, you should still get the live coverage feel. (Expect more on the level of my ROH Best in the World coverage than the other G1 Climax coverage I've given though. Since it will be live, I can't be as descriptive.)

For the record, here's the schedule for the rest of the G1 Climax starting tomorrow:
8/1- B Block- Night 12
8/2- A Block- Night 13
8/4- B Block- Night 14
8/5- A Block- Night 15
8/8- B Block- Night 16
8/10- A BLOCK FINALS (Night 17)
8/11- B BLOCK FINALS (Night 18)
8/12- G1 CLIMAX 28 FINALS (A BLOCK WINNER VS B BLOCK WINNER) (Night 19)

I also want to announce that I will be doing more live tweeting tonight on my Twitter account for SmackDown Live starting at 8pm (a few comments may appear prior to the show). I will NOT be covering 205 Live afterwards as I do not watch it, much like a 1/3 of the crowd at any given SmackDown. Check out the page at https://twitter.com/cdub1898 .

** A poll has been pinned to the profile asking who the best heel is in wrestling today. Take a second once you check out the page to vote on who the best heel is. **

Thank you all again for checking out this page (and the Twitter account). I will continue G1 Climax coverage tomorrow, post an UnWrest post on Thursday, and may have more in terms of wrestling reviews if I end up watching something on the side.

Be sure to share this page with your fellow wrestling fans. And as always, please leave any ideas or feedback you have on here. Until next time...

Take care of yourselves and spread some awesomeness.

UnWrest Focus- The Rock vs. Stone Cold at WrestleMania Part II- WrestleMania X-Seven

Welcome to the second of three posts looking at the epic rivalry between The Rock and Stone Cold at WrestleMania. This edition will look at the iconic encounter between the two at WrestleMania X-Seven. As previously mentioned on the first post, their encounter in 2001 was a culmination of different paths coming together to reunite a classic feud. While The Rock and Stone Cold had met at WrestleMania XV and Backlash in 1999, their next major epic match was not until this show. While the end of No Mercy 1999 hinted that these two and Triple H would be involved in a Triple Threat match, Stone Cold needed to get his neck surgery that he had put off for a couple years. While Austin went out for his neck surgery, the company turned to The Rock as the sole lead face on WWF programming. The Rock was the central attaction of WWF programming from 1999-2000 and helped the company maintain its position as the #1 wrestling promotion in the world. (WCW's own internal problems helped with that...

WWE TLC 2018 Review- Tables and Ladders and Chairs, Oh My!

HERE WE GO!    Pre-Show   1) WWE Cruiserweight Championship   Buddy Murphy (champ) vs. Cedric Alexander   They started this match early. Apparently, they wanted just as many fans in the arena as there usually are in 205 Live matches for this to give it the authentic feel.   The bell rings. A lot of tie-ups and switches to start up the match to a good reaction from the crowd. A Loud 205 Chant. Alexander takes down Murphy to the floor. Really good back and forth action here with both men moving quickly. Alexander catches Murphy with a dropkick for a 2 count. BIG KNEE to the head of Alexander sends him to the floor. Murphy flies off the top rope and hits a Meteora (maybe that’s what they were going for?) for a 2 count. Murphy has the advantage for a few moments, including a power choke on the corner on Alexander. He jumps off it to eat a SUPERKICK to the chest. Crowd seems invested in the matc...

UnWrest Focus- Survivor Series: Team Cena vs. Team Authority (Survivor Series 2014)

A feud between those who abuse power and those who try to overcome their abuse. It's a classic storytelling trope that has been used time and time again throughout fiction and history. In 2014, that trope was brought back as The Authority looked to cement its power through their "Chosen One" Seth Rollins and his team. Meanwhile, John Cena and other disgruntled WWE employees sought to end the "Reign of Terror" of The Authority once and for all. Putting their jobs on the line, Team Cena hoped to get an opportunity to send Stephanie and Triple H away. However, fans didn't expect a traitor in the midst of Team Cena or the debut of the Franchise of WCW in a WWE ring. This is the latest edition of UnWrest Focus: Survivor Series, and it's going to be a memorable one at that. Let's do this! WWE Survivor Series 2014 11/23/14 Survivor Series Match Team Cena (John Cena, Big Show, Ryback, Erick Rowan, and Dolph Ziggler) vs. Team Authority (Seth Rollins, ...
