To finish up coverage of this week's Hell in a Cell event, I'm including the results of a couple Twitter polls I posted on Twitter @cdub1898. Thank you to any and everyone who voted in these polls. If you want to vote in the next polls, check on Twitter to see the latest polls that are up. (For example, there will be at least one poll tonight for SmackDown Live.) Here are the results (along with my thoughts)
Best Match
I'm in complete agreement with the result here. Looking back, that tag team match was the highlight of the show in general. And I understand why Hardy vs. Orton ended up in 2nd Place. No one chose to give more detail on why they picked "Other (Write)" on the poll. As is, I think this is a very good representation of the best matches of the show.
**I decided not to do a Worst Match poll since I thought the pool might be poisoned thanks to the ending of the main event.**
Overall Grade
Obviously, the bad taste of the main event altered people's thoughts of the overall show. But consider this: 63% of voters determined that the show passed some sort of test. (A-C typically show mastery or above of whatever criteria.) But more people chose the bottom option than chose either of the other three. I think that's indicative of a PPV that failed to live up to its promised marquee of "Cell matches with a finish."
Again, thank you for checking this out. For further polls and other thoughts on wrestling, check out this blog and Twitter @cdub1898. Until next time, take care of yourselves. Spread some awesomeness.
